Once, the world was completely at peace

Once, humanity was utterly at home

We were created for belonging

We were designed to never feel alone

But we took that blessed peace

and exchanged it for chaos

We felt we deserved more—

We underestimated what would be lost

Away from Home and Home-Maker,

We’ve been wandering ever since

Longing to find the way back

Asking the whole world for hints

But in the chaos we earned,

In the midst of all the gray,

We hear a promise undeserved,

A whisper: “I am the way.”

“I am the way

Every year at Story & Soul Weekend, we share a creating retelling of the Big Story of the Bible. It's become a meaningful tradition that renews our affection for God and His Word.
