The Story of Hunger

THE STORY OF HUNGER

When we eat, we expect to find satisfaction, fullness. But after Adam and Eve ate in Genesis 3, they did not find satisfaction—they found shame. They took, and it took from them. They ate, and it ate away at them. No longer would they run joyously to God in the garden. No longer would they delight in their togetherness with him and one another. No longer would they share His table and walk with him. Togetherness was broken.

Adam and Eve ate and tasted death, but God had a plan to offer something that could truly satisfy—something that would taste like Life itself.

Every year at Story & Soul Weekend, we share a creating retelling of the Big Story of the Bible. It's become a meaningful tradition that renews our affection for God and His Word. If you’d like to experience The Story of Hunger, we no longer offer the audio Caroline Saunders shared in 2017, but you can download our free Bible study based on the content here.
